hmm this four letter word is gradually haunting me! I've been growing in economic maturity - I'm buying less clothes and needless things (I'm not even ordering contacts!) and also more proactive in seeking scholarships and bursaries....
....but lately I'm getting rejected to all the things I'm applying to... and it's too late to get work-study placements. I feel like I'm the type of person that falls in the cracks when the government and school assesses my financial need. I'm an only child who lives at home with both her parents with no prior government debt incurred from undergrad. :( I guess I should be super thankful... but I'm just sad that I'm not even getting bursaries. I spend 3 hours every day commuting - which equates to 15 hours per week, or approximately 75 hours per month... all to save money. Now I'm anxious about OGS... and after each rejection, I feel even less hopeful about being a recipient.
sigh. I know He is faithful. I guess I'll just keep trying.

Aww poopers, I totally feel ya on this one! But as my dad keeps reminding me, debt is just a part of life. It's virtually impossible to go through life debt-free! Just focus on applying yourself fully to school and trust that God will pull through, as He always does. Of course, we need to be sensible about the money that we do have - I'm trying my best to be frugal too! But just remind yourself everyday that, contrary to what this world tells us, money isn't everything and it doesn't define who we are. Our worth is in Him, not our cashflow (or lack thereof, haha!). I need to remind myself of this too!
:) thanks pooper, I appreciate your encouragement!!!
